Two brothers from Niger and a young woman from Mali leave their respective countries with the intention of travelling to Europe. The two young men aspire to a better life in the old continent; the young woman is escaping an arranged marriage with an old man who abused her since she was a little girl. The three decide to make part of the journey together.
The difficulties grow on their way towards the great blue wall represented by the Mediterranean Sea. Fourteen kilometres separate their life of dreams from their desperate reality. Only with determination and effort will they be able to achieve what seems impossible. If they succeed, they will leave behind terrible moments. During their migration they have met with instances of human evil and also wonderful moments of solidarity.
