Trasfoco
In a small town marked by illness and by silence, the water that should sustain the community carries a story no one wants to listen to. Beneath the calm surface of rivers and still wells lies an uncomfortable truth: something has poisoned the groundwater and all those who depend on it. A lawyer, driven in by ambition as much as by his conscience, delves into the labyrinth where powerful companies hide their responsibility and affected families fight to obtain justice. As he searches for answers, he discovers that standing up to those who control the water also means standing up to a system that prefers to look the other way and crushes anyone who dares to challenge it. In this uneven battle, every fact, every gesture and every niggling doubt becomes a form of resistance.
