Aquarela

A rising ocean, a glacier cracking, a storm rending the horizon: water appears in all forms like an untamed force that escapes all efforts by human to control it. In seas, lakes and ice sheets that shatter with a deafening roar, nature shows us its most beautiful and its most ferocious sides. Nothing remains still: everything flows, crawls, strikes or vanishes beneath the surface. Confronted with a force that exceeds the human scale, all we are left with is the certainty of our fragility and the shock of witnessing a world changing at an overwhelming rate. In this infinite ebb and flow, water looks back at us and reminds us that its fate—and ours—are interwoven in a single pulse we can no longer ignore.
