In a city where bureaucracy moves at a pace of cold precision, an eviction officer goes about her job, following a set of rules and procedures that leave no room for doubt. Doors open and close, lives are interrupted, people refusing to look her in the eye… it’s all part of the daily routine she has learned to endure. Until one day there is an eviction that has consequences she cannot escape. Even though everyone around her insists that she must simply do her job, something inside begins to crack. Professional distance becomes no longer possible and each ordinary gesture causes a sense of unease that nobody else notices. Caught in this silent conflict, she tries to understand how to keep going when a single extreme situation was enough to turn her entire world upside down.
