High up on Mont Gerbier-de-Jonc, where the air is quiet and the mist hangs low, a tiny stream begins to flow. It is so small that at first it barely seems like a river. Among grass, flowers, moss, and stones, the Loire starts its long journey without knowing what it will become. Around it, life moves at a calm, pastoral rhythm, while this first trickle already hints at the great river it will grow into. Watching this simple beginning, we sense both the weight of history and the slow promise of the future. It reminds us that even the largest rivers start as a small, almost silent murmur—and that everything big begins from something very small.
