Regen

The city breathes beneath a slowly darkening sky. Everything starts with a warning: heavier air, a different shine on the canals, a faint tremor on still surfaces. The first drops arrive, almost shyly, still scattered, until the rain completely takes over the streets. Puddles grow, rooftops drip, umbrellas open urgently; everything is transformed by the rhythm of the falling water. Buildings, bridges and trams become shifting reflections, shapes that change with every ripple.
