Sísifo

Greek mythology tells of a king named Sisyphus. Cunning and deceitful, he tricked gods and mortals alike, until Zeus condemned him to a dreadful punishment: for all eternity, without pause or rest, he would be forced to push a massive rock up a hill. Each time he neared the summit, the rock would roll back down, compelling the wretched king to start over again. Thus, without respite, Sisyphus pays for his impious behaviour. Like the weary Sisyphus, thousands of men across the world toil endlessly, striving to impose order on a natural world that, sooner or later, always reasserts its power.
