Watermark

Trasfoco

Rivers that disappear, seas that retreat, cities that drink more than nature can supply: water is a vast mirror in which our most fragile traces and our deepest wounds are reflected. Together with colossal dams, infinite canals, thirsting deserts and ancient rituals, humanity reveals the magnitude of both its dependence and its impact on water. Sometimes sacred, other times exploited to the verge of extinction, water shows how every human gesture can alter its course. Faced with this immensity on which our survival depends, a question quietly echoes: what will be left of the world if we mould it without listening to its flow?
