Le Tempestaire

Sección Trasfoco: The wind

In a French fishing village, a young woman bids farewell to her lover, who is setting out to sea with the other men. Shortly afterwards, a great storm blows up, making her anxious, afraid and worried. The enraged sea produces higher and higher waves and the gusts of wind only grow stronger. Desperately worried about her fiancé, who she imagines to be tossed around by the storm, the young woman goes out in search of a wise old man from the village because, according to popular lore, some men have ancient magical powers to calm the wind.
